Britney Spears' roller coaster ride through rehab

16 March 2007 - The news has been both good and bad for the pop tart as she completes three weeks in rehab. Her estranged husband has proved supportive during her hour of need but is not interested in rebuilding his marriage to her. She has another man who is ready to care for her but he needs as much help as she does. She has lost a large number of fans but her fan base still appears large.

Kevin Federline, 29, is lending the troubled star his support while she is undergoing treatment at Malibu's Promises centre but despite family hopes they will get back together, Kevin is not interested.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "I talked to Kevin about Britney and he said he's not getting back together with Britney. At least not right now. He just wants to be a friend for her. She has told him she would get back with him, but he's trying to just do the right thing for everyone right now, but he doesn't want to go back there again."

Another source claims the couple were close to working out a divorce settlement earlier this year, until Britney's wild partying caused Kevin and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, to intervene.

Britney has reportedly fallen for RIVA lead guitarist Jason Filyaw after meeting him at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

Meanwhile, letters of support from Britney's fans are being posted on her website BritneySpears.com.

Jordan H writes: "Over the past few months, I've seen you change a lot. I just wanted to let you know that I have your back, and I'm supporting you 100 per cent.

13 March 2007 : Britney left Promises rehab center Monday (12 Mar 2007) evening to attend an AA meeting held at a church in Pacific Palisades, CA.

The pop tart rode a white SUV owned by Promises. The meeting lasted from 8 PM to 9 PM. During a break, Britney chatted with other attendees and smoked.

Casually attired Britney wore a knee length light grey strapless dress with high heeled brown pumps. A white cap covered her head and she hid her eyes behind large brown sun glasses. There was, of course the customary hooded jacket, to make the job of photogs difficult.

Britney who entered Promises on 22nd Feb 2007, has now spent two and a half weeks there. Her total stay in rehab is expected to be 30 days.

The New York Daily News has hinted around about the video starring the pop star, who is currently in Promises Treatment Center for undisclosed reasons, and several female dancers.

Associatedcontent.com reports that photographs that show Britney Spears and the ladies have already surfaced on the net. Although the photos do not show anything racy, they do include photographs of Britney wearing one of the dancer’s outfits and apparently ‘grinding’ against her.
The photos were taken on February 12, 2007 - prior to shaving her head and entering rehab.

Rush and Molloy has reported that photographs of Britney Spears nude has already received a bid of $150,000.

As for the tape, it is reported that the video includes Britney Spears and the dancers having sex as well using drugs. The video is actually the security video used in the club. According to sources, the security cameras caught the two dancers and Britney Spears getting ‘hot and heavy’ while backstage at the club.

National Ledger states that a source close to one of the dancers is saying the girls were fired from the club after footage was reviewed by management.

When the dancers were called into the office, a source says, “The manager said there was a tape of them.”

The dancers were fired immediately.

“Both the girls cried about it when they got fired, but they didn’t deny it.”

Things are not looking to good for Britney Spears, especially since everything that she hoped would remain private is coming out.

Between the interviews with Jason Alexander (her ex-husband of only 55 hours) and Issac Cohen (her short-term lover from this year), to her admission to Promises Treatment Center - Britney Spears has not had any privacy.

Unfortunately, her recent behavior may be jeopardizing her chance to obtain full custody of her two sons, especially if this sex tape is leaked to the public.

According to several sources, the footage inside the sex video is so outrageous and shocking that it may be the ‘final straw that broke the camel’s back’

12 March 2007 :After selling intimate details about his relationship with Britney Spears to the British tabloid News of the World, model Issac Cohen wants Britney to know - "You and your family are in my prayers."

Speaking with People Friday at a party for Cubavera Sportswear at California's Glendale Galleria Macy's, Cohen, who hasn't spoken with Britney since their split over a month ago, said, "I was definitely surprised that she went into rehab."

"I didn't feel it had to come to that, but you know, if that's what it takes and if that's what she needs."

Cohen, 25, thinks Britney made the right choice by seeking treatment. "It's the best thing for her, her children - for everyone around her, actually," he said. "She's a strong girl and I really feel that she'll be okay."
