Scarlett Johansson who has been dating Canadian TV and film actor Ryan Reynolds for a year but has denied rumors that the two were engaged may or may not have to deny them again. She was recently spotted shopping for a wedding dress with her mother and sister at Monique Lhuillier boutique in LA.
A source told Pagesix.com that "they stayed for a while."
Reynolds, 31, who was engaged to Alanis Morissette from 2004 to early 2007, is reported to be keener on marriage than Johansson, 23, who has said she is not in a rush.
Johansson has also said she does not believe in monogamy because it goes against human nature but also asserts she is "not promiscuous."
The Horse Whisperer star is reported to have a steamy lesbian sex scene with Penelope Cruz in Woody Allen's forthcoming film Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
A rep for the actress didn't respond to Pagesix emails.
