Lindsay Lohan runs around NY

Hurricane Lohan is still wreaking havoc on New York and doesn’t appear to be slowing down. We spotted running some errands around NYC and didn’t look too paranoid about running in to her ex-con father Michael who has been pitching a new reality show for his daughter where he is stranded on a desert island with Lindsay, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson and their fathers.

I think a better show idea is to put them all on a desert island and leave them there. Forever. Without any cameras. Good riddance.

Lindsay Lohan partied every night this week

After a long spell as a brunette, Lindsay Lohan goes back to blonde after being a strawberry blonde for a couple of days. Lindsay was photographed while out clubbing with friends. (03/07/2007).

16 March 2007 - The 20-year-old actress hit a host of New York's top hotspots, just weeks after leaving Los Angeles' Wonderland rehab center.

Over the weekend, Lindsay partied with Jude Law at The Box, where onlookers claim she was "drinking champagne and dancing with four Lindsay look-alikes".

On Monday (12.03.07), she danced the night away at Butter and Bungalow 8, while last night (15.03.07) she planned to visit Plumm with her fashion designer friend Charlotte Ronson.

The star - who left Wonderland on February 16 - was also recently seen partying at exclusive nightclub Teddy's in the plush Hollywood Roosevelt hotel.

Lindsay's representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, says the actress is "doing fine" and just "taking her life day by day".

Lindsay recently admitted she was "really sick" before checking into rehab to be treated for alcoholism.

She said: "I was really sick. I went to the hospital and had people sit me down who said, 'You are going to die if you don't take care of yourself."

"I heeded what they were telling me."

Howard Replacing Lohan in Teardrop Diamond

Bryce Dallas Howard is in talks to replace Lindsay Lohan as the female lead in Tennessee Williams' The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, reports Production Weekly.

Chris Evans, Ellen Burstyn and David Strathairn are also attached to the film scheduled to shoot in Louisiana later this year. Indie actress Jodie Markell will make her feature directing debut.

In this original, previously undiscovered screenplay by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, a rebellious socialite, Fisher Willow (Howard), is caught up in a world of social conventions, glittering society balls, and her father's greed that she desperately wants to escape. Her love for Jimmy (Evans), a handsome farm hand may be her only way out.

Burstyn would play Fisher's mother and Strathairn would play Jimmy's alcoholic father.

Lindsay Lohan hit a photographer with her car while probably drunk

Lindsay Lohan has been accused of running over a photographer in New York. Onlookers say Lohan, 20, rolled her BMW towards the lensman who then fell to the ground, saying he had been run over. She accused him of “faking it” as he writhed on the street, it was claimed, before leaving in another car, driven by a bodyguard.The photographer was taken to St. Luke’s hospital. Lohan was initially allowed to leave the scene by police but was called back several hours later for questioning. The extent of the photographer’s injuries are as yet unknown.

Lindsay Lohan’s dad gets out of jail today, she’ll cope with vodka-flavored water

Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael is going to be released from the Collins Correctional Facility outside of Buffalo, NY today. The 46-year-old father of infamous starlet Lindsay was sentenced to a four year sentence at the end of May, 2005, for multiple charges over time including assault and drunk driving. He seems to be out on good behavior as less than two years have passed.

While in prison, the elder Lohan seems to have found God and has written Lindsay at least two public letters urging her to turn her life over to religion as he has done.

He also sent a strange drawing to the NY Daily News gossip column in which he depicted Lindsay as a young innocent beset by greedy lawyers and paparazzi.

Lindsay refused to speak to her father shortly before he went to prison and was said to be thinking of filing for a restraining order against him.

Michael’s mother, Lindsay’s grandmother, is going to be having a welcome back party for her son at her Long Island home. It is not known if newly rehabbed Lindsay will be there, although I doubt it.

Lindsay is in NY as far as I know, and could presumably make it. A newly blonde Lohan whe was seen on Sunday having lunch with her enabling mother Dina downtown. She was also out that night at NY clubs Stereo, where she flirted with just-dumped DJ AM, and The Box, where she struck out with Jude Law. (Or maybe they were just talking or whatever.)

In related news, Lindsay still seems to be drinking vodka out of water bottles and screwing up at work. The National Enquirer had two stories this week of her latest exploits.

One has her at a late night Hollywood Hills party almost running into an assistant producer on her new film, I Know Who Killed Me. Lindsay, who ditched an entire day of work after showing up late and puking in her trailer, probably costing the film tens of thousands, didn’t want a boss to catch her partying and escaped out of a bathroom window. And if we needed any more proof that Lindsay isn’t staying sober after her stint at that revolving door rehab, she was spotted getting vodka poured into her water bottle at a club where she was DJing:

We’ve finally learned the secret of Lindsay Lohan and her magic water bottle! There was a packed house at Les Deux on Feb. 28 for the official debut of “DJ Lindsay Lohan”….

Lindsay kept running between the DJ booth and her VIP table to dance with her friends. She was drinking from a water bottle and had her Parliament Lights practically welded to her hand. Ah, but we couldn’t help notice a male friend was intermittently ducking behind the couch and pouring vodka into Lindsay’s water bottle! How many days sober Lindsay?

With a history of alcoholism in her family, Lindsay should have taken rehab seriously and tried to pick up some hobbies besides shopping and going to clubs every night. I hope it doesn’t take an accident or tragedy to get that girl sober.

Ressurecting her public image and career will take some drastic measures, that’s for sure. This girl’s star is fading fast.

I think Lindsay is such a cute girl but why does she dress like this? I used to always have a problem with the outfits Lindsay chooses but now her hair is almost as bad as her clothes. I understand maybe Lindsay was bored with her dark hair color but this shade looks terrible. It looks unnatural and does not complement her coloring. I really don’t like it.
