Babyshambles in a huff over Doherty creating music with Kate Moss

Supermodel Kate Moss

London, Mar 13: Pete Doherty’s rocker band members might not mind having his girlfriend Kate Moss perform with them on-stage once in a while, but plans to have her write songs for their next album has not gone down too well with them.

Doherty has often called Moss his ‘muse’, and though they don’t mind her singing along with them at times, they are reportedly furious that the rocker has started writing the new album with Kate and not the band.

"Pete has really pushed the other guys' buttons this time. They've had enough of his obsession with Kate. He keeps calling her his 'muse' and she says he's her 'inspiration'," the Daily Mail quoted a source, as saying.

"The band don't mind Kate getting up on stage and performing with them the odd time, but writing the album with them is different," the source added.

A pal revealed that Doherty and Moss were ‘very excited’ about the lyrics that they have penned together.

"They are both very excited by the work they've done together so far and spend most weekends at Kate's Cotswolds home writing lyrics together. They go on long walks in the country so they can clear their heads, and often Kate has an idea or comes up with a line and they scribble it down," the pal said.

"Kate is mainly helping Pete with the lyrics, though she's also trying to help with some of the melodies. She keeps saying that modeling is just visual and she is really enjoying using her mind and discovering how to be a poet. She has found the whole experience of being creative with Pete incredibly inspirational. She thinks he's a brilliant genius of our age," the friend added.

And, it seems that songs are not the only thing that the supermodel is also helping Doherty write, for she is also helping him with his new book, which is being published by Orion and will be out on 30 May in the UK.
