Anna Nicole Smith
March 13, 2007 – The list of those attempting to cash in on Anna Nicole Smith’s sudden death and her legacy is ever increasing.
NBC’s show, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, has also joined the bandwagon to capitalize on the case and increase its falling ratings.
Eonline.com reports, that the show has signed on Kristy Swanson, who originated the role of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as the leading lady to play the ex-Playboy Playmate.
According to Fox News' Roger Friedman the episode’s producers have conspicuously left out a character to play Larry Birkhead and are going to combine estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, with that of her sister, Donna Hanover, into a composite character.
However, NBC has refused comment on the finer plot points of the episode.
The episode is expected to air during May.
