Amy Winehouse performed at the Bowery Ballroom last night and lived up to her boozy reputation. Her performance went off without a hitch, winning over the New York crowd while joking about her drinking. “You know the joke: I have a real drinking problem - I keep missing my mouth.” (Don’t know her drummer did the drumroll cymbal crash thing after that one)
Winehouse has been rumored to be battling a drinking problem and her father has recommended that she enter rehab but she rocked out on stage last night with a big ol’ glass of Jack Daniel’s and lemonade because in her own words, “Ladies don’t drink beer.”
