Victoria and David Beckham toast ten years together with candlelight and champagne

David and Victoria Beckham. (12/27/2006).

London, March 16: David and Victoria Beckham celebrated their tenth year together at the players’ lounge at Old Trafford in Manchester, the place where they met for the first time.

The Beckhams went off to their sixth floor suite of the Lowry hotel after the match, where the hotel staff served them with a splendid champagne dinner.

Pre arrangements were made by David, who instructed the staff to decorate the room with Victoria's favorite, white flowers and candles.

The 31 year old footballer, who wanted it to be one of the most memorable nights of their lives, created a romantic mood with the help of his mother Sandra and sister Joanne.

"David is a deeply romantic man and this night was very special to him. It was important for him to have his whole family around during the day, and he wanted the evening to be a commemoration of his relationship with Vic," Daily Mail quoted a friend, as saying.

Rumors are ripe that David has selected an impeccable piece of expensive jewelery as a present for his wife.

"Victoria was beaming with joy as she spent the afternoon with David and the children, and his mother and sister. She feels it was a truly magical night for her and David as ten years is the first real relationship landmark," a friend was quoted by the Daily Mail, as saying.

"It was a momentous night. Our closeness and romance is as strong as ever," Victoria said.

Others from the family who joined the celebrations were his mother, sister and his three sons - Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, four and two-year-old Cruz.
