Apparently this piece of art (bag) will be a collectible ?

It might look like a patchwork quilt - but this is the world’s most expensive handbag. The Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag costs a staggering $42,000 - and only 24 will be made in the world. The must-have accessory, part of the luxury brand’s spring 2007 collection, is made from old recycled patterns and already has fashionistas in a frenzy. Just four will be shipped to the US - and they have already been snapped up. Despite the fact that Louis Vuitton bags are among the most counterfeited in the world, the Patchwork was crafted to ensure it can’t be faked. A spokeswoman said: “With the 15 different patterns you need, all the material and craftsmanship, it’s nearly impossible to make a fake”.

Whatever, I give it 2 weeks before the dodgy fakes start gracing the streets. Personal I think it’s the most horrid thing I have ever seen, how could you co-ordinate that bag with anything?
